Future Mobility Design Lab, University of Cincinnati
Founding and leading the Future Mobility Design Lab has been the defining professional chapter of my career, requiring the integration of research leadership, global partnership building, funding strategy, team development, and long term vision. Over the past 4 plus years, I established and scaled a nationally and internationally recognized lab that delivers human centered, technology enabled research through collaborations with governments, Fortune 100 companies, and academic institutions worldwide, including NASA, U.S. Department of Transportation, MIT, and global industry partners. This work spans significant research funding, the development of proprietary methodologies, the training of a variety of multidisciplinary university students, and leadership of high impact projects across the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and beyond. Leading the FMD Lab has shaped me into a systemic, adaptable, and globally oriented leader focused on improving quality of life through research, innovation, and human centered design at scale.

Ohio DOT, Future Hubs
This project was a multi year research and innovation initiative led with the Ohio Department of Transportation from 2023-2024 and subsequent projects through 2027, representing approximately $500,000 USD in funded work. The research developed an implementable, human centered framework for next generation community and mobility hubs across urban, suburban, and rural contexts in Ohio, integrating access to mobility, education, healthcare, employment, and essential services. Through mixed methods research, participatory Digital Twins, and the Future Hub Playbook, the project delivered scalable planning and engagement tools now being evaluated for national and global implementation in collaboration with partners at the MIT City Science Network, with the goal of improving quality of life, equity, and inclusive infrastructure decision making across diverse contexts.
